I’ve used these rebuild kits on at least 5 QT’s and they’re great! Low cost and comes with most everything needed. The only gasket it doesn’t come with is the top cover gasket and the needle is a bargain alone in this kit.
I saw it was reviewed by someone else that the air screw wasn’t right. 79-81 QT50’s had a carb with a different air screw position and design so it would not work with those carbs. The rest of the kit would but if your carb has the air screw in the middle of the carb just below the idle screw then you can’t use the new air screw unless you use it in your float bowl.

I had high hopes, but the float doesn't float and the fuel shutoff isn't shaped right. The needle doesn't fit right in the carb and the jets are the cheap clone type with no numbering on them. Tried to use them and see if they still worked, but QT50 won't start with the new parts. I scrubbed the old parts and put them back in... it runs, but not nicely. Pretty disappointed, I wish there were an all balls kit as their stuff is better then OEM in my opinion.
Great kit for a low price!
