These require 95 studs per tire in case anyone is wondering. I used 3/8" self tapping sheet metal screw and ran them right into the holes in the knobs. They were not long enough to puncture the inner tube and worked awesome on the ice/hard packed snow.

I ride all year long so needed something to shred through the Michigan winters and stumbled across these bad boys and my life hasn't been the same since. Just put them back on my maxi today for my second winter with them.

These are excellent skinny dirt tires. Fitted to my Hobbit they make loose gravel, and soft dirt, feel like sticky hot pavement.

Combo these with "KoldKutter" race studs + a "KoldKutter" tire liner and you'll be leaning on sheer ice with no slippage. Come summer time these work great as offroad tires, they are made for cold so are super soft rubber, but seem very durable, I run them studless in the summer on dirt, mud and concrete with no troubles, low road noise, no noticeable vibrations or speed loss, These are awesome tires for any price, But BEWARE Ice dudes, if you forget the inner liner and use studs, or use studs too short they will be gone the second you hit anything other than pure ice or snow (concrete rips them out in about 100meters of riding, even with the inner liner though try to stay off concrete as it will dull the studs if nothing else..)
