It does not work mounted in the opposite direction as noted. If flipped, the intake points downward because the intake mounts are not symmetrical on either side. I got it to fit on my VIP by grinding some of the intake down at one corner. Also, i had to find a bent rubber mount and reinforce it cause it was flimsy so the carburator would sit in a proper position. the carb can't go directly on this intake otherwise it would be facing up/down.
VIP - tight fit but was able to make to work
