These are exact replacements for your qt50. They are exactly the same as the originals except for the actual brake pad design which has the slits carved in. Brake distance has been reduced, braking is more responsive brake lever feel is much more linear. Its not a night and day difference by any means but for these older bikes it makes them feel safer.
