On a Tomos A35 Kickstart, this large nut rubs the spring keeper. This keeper is inside the ignition cover. You need to shim the cover. Note: If this rubs, it slows down your top end speed.

Great lil upgrade. A wee bit pricey, but worth it. It has a wider nut so there's more to grab onto with a tool, and the seal gives me warm fuzzy feelings and inner peace. FWIW my Tomos didn't/doesn't have the leak but I figured this would keep it that way.
