The rubber itself wears out after 6 months of use - developed many minor fractures and then failed completely. Also, the provided hose clamps are not beefy enough - when trying to fully tighten the screw starts to skip and it will not tighten further. Had to replace with better clamps.
Long story short: Go buy a length of radiator hose from the auto parts store instead.
