oooo fresh from the oven at la boulangetrieat is a beautiful PUCH two speedo vdo style speedometer! just like the original 30mph version, but crafted with advanced technologies allowing it to read up to 40mph! simply amazing.

this will directly replace puch speedoz. it will also work on a slew of other bikes like many batavus and sachs!

details:
- speedo bracket
- rubber o-ring that sits under speedometer face to help mitigate water entry
- bulb holder for ba7s bulbs (12v 2w bulb included)
- odometer, 0-40mph, smooth functioning needle, black background with white lettering
- total length is 47.5mm and fits in any 60mm hole, like the stock puch holders and the bullet style headlight!
- works with any puch vdo cable like all of these cables we have
- threading diameter is about 9mm (puch size) and works with 1.6mm cable tip (tip may fit a little snug at first just be careful!)

My modded Puch didn't have one so I bought it. Fun to watch the miles go up and helps keep track of maintenance as well. Perfect for rippers with modded babies.

5 of 5 Great Replacement for Stock 30mph on Free Spirit May 30, 2023

My moped started pinning the original 30mph speedometer at maximum speed; it was time for another speedometer. The old speedometer mounting hardware was compatible with this unit.

Even though it came with its own rubber band to fit below the bezel, I used both the new band and the old band, since the fit seemed a bit loose inside the housing. If I had to do it over again, I would have used an old inner tube from which to cut a new rubber band.

The original cable is working, I used a drop of PTFE inside the ferule. Everything is working fine.

With the 40mph speedometer, I can see how fast I'm going. I tried to run the odometer up with a drill motor, but when I realized it would take more than a day at 40mph to get it up past 2000 miles, I changed my mind.

Thanks Treatland!

After some mods, I put this thing on. It is pretty sweet. My needle doesn't flop around like it did w/ stock. I'm at 35 mph working on getting to 40!
