3 of 5 a little dissapointed August 5, 2024

I assumed these were hardened, maybe they are, who knows maybe its from stacking shims, but stacking 2 1mm small shims on the face of the clutch has caused them to wear fast. the inner small shim against the bell bearing and shim surface has worn .18mm over the course of maybe 200 hard miles, resulting in an inner lip on the shim cutting into the brass bushing on the bell, it was salvageable but caught at the right time.  Im running a light weight bell with jammer and lightened starter plate. Good thing is now i know my needs for shimming, i can buy NOS shims that are one piece instead of stacked like how i had tried.

these may be just fine for a stock build. Mine is far from that.

4 of 5 Necessary Whenever Engine's Disassembled May 15, 2024

Especially if the crankshaft's replaced, these are absolutely necessary for adjusting the clearance of the clutch. Also, a set is needed for the project, not just one. I ordered one of each size. Also you'll need a METRIC micrometer 0-25 mm. I checked each size as I went, and some of them are exact or only a few 100ths off. I took off a star for the price, sizewise, they can be had elsewhere for under 50¢ each in a pack of 20. That said, for one project it's worth spending $20 for ten shims half of which you're not likely to use. Thanks Treatland!!! You made my clutch project possible.

Very precise shim. I bought a couple different sizes along with large shims to adjust the position of my clutch bell. Now it works perfectly.
