Had to grind/file some of the iron armature to get it to fit, otherwise it was interference fit with the flywheel magnets, but it works and now my variant has bright lights!

I went with the green Pietcard cdi coil igniton setup and wanted to go 12v lights for super rad LEDs at the same time. I've read some people have been able to use the old stock ignition coil, flip it, and use it as a 12v light coil. I couldn't get that to work consistently. This coil worked perfectly. Dropped in and start blinding people.

Has anyone actually confirmed that this produces 12v A/C current, after replacing the original light coil ? Tried 2 new pietcard 12v coils consecutively on a CEV stator, with 3 different rotors, cleaning and jumping ground points, and still couldnt produce over 5.7v at WOT .... Even ground out the holes on one to get it from .090 rotor gap, to within .017 of the rotor magnets to no avail ...

My old 6v lighting coil shit the bed. Ordered this little gem and it was a drop-in replacement, no modification to the coil needed. It comes with one yellow wire which I ran to a cheap Chinese 4-pin 12v regulator/rectifier, then split the new 12v DC into 3 for headlight, LED tail and LED brake light.
