ok the first set of cases had this gnarly crack in the lip on the outside of the seal seat of the clutch side. pulled out the bearing and BLAMMO! another one on the inside too.i could clearly see the bearing was pressed in incorrectly. Replacement set was shipped off, and these puppies are correct! Be prepared to get out the Dremel, cuz the ports don't line up. But if you're runnin' a kit, then you already got those bits out. good kit superb price. Take time to inspect the cases buy a bearing and seal set because there is a lot of small particulates that get in the bearings that will keep them from spinning freely. So, over all, I'd say a good kit to buy if you aren't a rookie. Plan ahead, be patient, and your ped will rip!

I pre fit everything before assembly, a tiny bit of dremmel work and wow. For the money this is a great kit. Take care not to over tighten stuff to strip threads and make sure gaskets fit. In other words take your time with this kit and it will perform great. I have over 2000k on mine no problems.

Update of previous review

So after cracking my teknix case (see problems in previous review) I discovered that one of the bearings was not properly seated, and I hadn't noticed before, it was so minor. Once the bearing was seated properly, we re-pressed the engine and added red gasket maker on both sides of the gasket for sealing purposes. This tiny bit of extra room made up for the machining error, and now I have crank movement. I can see how the machining is uneven, but at least it didn't require major dremel work as I had assumed it might. I will update the rating to 4 stars because now that it works (not perfect like a polini case, but well enough) and it was cheap, it seems like its worth a higher rating than I originally gave it. Be careful these things require a little bit of tinkering, but they will save you a good chunk of money.

Very cheap but...

So it looked good, snapped together pretty well and seemed ok, until I spent the time pressing the engine cases onto the crank. Once complete, and may I add, looking fantastic, I discovered to my horror, that the bottom right part of the case was poorly machined, and was sitting higher than the left bottom part. The result: zero crank movage. So now after spending an hour heating the case and attempting to remove the case without damaging it so that I can dremel it down to fit my beautiful new crank and work the way it is supposed to, I've put divots and scratches all over the case anyway, and am completely stuck with a beautiful new crank in a crappy new engine case that will not come off. Damn I wish I had spent the extra money on a really nice case. You should do the same, or really really check your case over before pressing it all together. And find the right puller for it, because I don't have one and I'm not happy.

Some cheap and good stock cases to build a 3 ports stock or kitted engine with enough meat to do your port matching. Thanks Treats!
