I love the spring. I dont think its a doppler by any means but its definitely not bad. Spring tension is mega easy to adjust and helps sooo much when tryna squeeze that last couple mph out of your silly French bike.
Additional pro tips. 1. Circlip on the end is a bit questionable. I welded a flat washer to the end instead. 2. This spring uses it's tension to hold itself in place when mounted. That's whack. Do the cheetahchrome mod and drill a hole in your frame and then a appropriately positioned drilled / tapped hole in the spring box that goes into the frame. Throw a m6 bolt in and bam your spring will never fall out. 3. I run a second nut tightened against the nylon nut for spring tension just to be sure it doesn't loosen

Easy on....easy off. A little too easy off though.

This is a great spring. It has plenty of range and is easily adjustable. One thing though, be careful it requires belt tension to stay in place. I have lost this spring more than a couple times. Once after removing the belt to push my pug home and just earlier today after hitting a huge bump, it popped off and a couple cars ran over it. It survived getting run over so that just adds to it's greatness. I'm going to drill a couple holes where it sits into the frame and use zip ties to make sure it doesn't completely fall off the bike in the future. Great spring, no need to spend the extra on anything else.

but this spring is still great. why get a doppler.
this is easy to tension, easy to mount. and cheaper than doppler.

get this and ditch that lousy stock engine spring that you've been hanging with with forever. Anyways I heard that stock engine springs cause STDs. How's that for a reason!
