a lot of the corners doppler started cutting over the years are still intact here
PROS -usual qc gaps on doppler er3, like a loose shaft bushing or back and forth play of the arm in between the mounts are all nice and tight on this! less rattle! -went to balance the arms, and was pleasantly surprised when they were within 0.10 grams of e/o! -the guide pin system on the side is better thought out than the ER3 on the front plate. - the nut perfectly fits in the puller threads and actually threads great on the crank
CONS -it’s heavy. ER3 is like 800g, this is 1,150g. -weights are harder to change, but its still possible to change without taking anything apart. also only has 2 holes instead of 3, but if that bugs you, er3 arms fit
OTHER -if you’re putting this back together and the moving cheek binds up, try flipping the orientation
anyhow, red loctite the small bolts, blue loctite the fixed cheek and lock nut, yadda yadda this isn’t your first French part
