Wow... instant power gain. Am reviving a 20year sleeper and it was running with the original Novi coil and plug wire and metal cap. This coil is 1st quality, the mounting holes match exactly, the plug wire screws in TIGHT, and I added a NGK plug cap to finish it off.which is also a screw into the wire, tight. (NGK black spark plug boot - LB05FP $2.99) Also, the plug wire is 3x as long as you need, just cut it and save the 2/3 to replace when it gets old. Started and idled HIHGER, instantly more power, set the idle back down and same on the road, more power 5-8 mph... guess my 40 yr old Novi coil was on its last legs before I swapped it out for this one. Note, you will need 2 one inch small bolts and nuts to replace the built in bolts on the original novi coil. Just used standard small bolts, make sure it is grounded good and tight against the frame and use lock washers. Easy upgrade from weak old stock coil... that was running!

Everything you would expect from olympia... a quality product with a great price tag. I am running a kinetic cdi on a ciao, and wanted the correct coil to fit under my sidecovers. This does all of those things, and sparks great. also comes with a bunch of extra plug wire, which is always nice to have.
