The OD is too large to fit in the back plate. OEM is 7.12mm. This guy is too fat at 7.95mm. Stick the screw end in the chuck of a cordless drill and drag it across a file for several minutes checking your progress often. Buy an extra incase you over shrink it. Press it in with a deep well socket over the stud.

Saved my starter clutch

It does not fit the hole but I chucked it in the lathe, alright i used a drill press an a dremmel cutting wheel! shaved down the OD and made it fit. Used a arbor press to flare the flange and I am goo to go! Could also be welded but press fit is easier.
It will work!
