It leaked right out of the package. Nothing I did could do to stop it leaking. Had to buy a different brand.

Purchased this in August 2015; it started to leak, in the "on" or open position, around February 2016. Maybe a result of ethanol California gas?
when open, fuel comes out the top, seems like a failed seal.

Doesn't work for SP-50 / 99Z tanks

although this does appear to be a very nice petcock, it's the wrong thread size for top-tank AV88/89's. the speciale 50 / 99Z tank takes the same size petcock as a model 40/50 tank (10mm). the "OMG knob" petcock works perfectly, so go buy that instead if you have one of these bikes.
