minarelli v1 80cc SPEED KIT !!!! comes with the famed v1 polini kit, a CUSTOM CUT head that matches the squish perfectly with bigger cooling fins (and new for 2022, has the correct head gasket), an american made motion left mopeds intake, mikuni vm20 carburetor, piston / wrist pin / clips / gaskets and mounting hardware!!

first of all, if you dont have jets, GET SOME JETS HERE. you need them to tune! start around 220 ish and work your way down, dont work your way up. also, were not responsible if you seize your kit cause you got too excited to blast!!!

remember to take your time during installation. do your research and realize that everything with mopeds will take a little extra work to get to fit perfectly - its not a brand new car! its where the fun comes from, though. break the kit in slowly before full on ripping and you should be fine!! like take a few slow trips to the corner store or your loved ones house or around the block a few times for no reason. ya get it

Well this kit is a bit of a ripper! The Polini kit is known for amazing reliability and the Mikuni Carb is great. The only issue that I had with this setup is that the little filter they give you, while strong, restricts flow.

For a few months I just couldn't get it tuned right. I stepped down from a 220 jet all the way to a 110 and it still ran rich. One day I took the air filter off and BAM. It was like a whole new motor. One that didn't bog around.

I'm currently running a 110 main and 17.5 idle jet and it's pretty dialed in with my stock (dented) pipe. I'm sure I'll have to upjet pretty far once my people's pipe gets here, but it's a ripper as is.

Oh and if you want a good filter, get the K&N RU-0200

Just finished installation. Was super easy. Everything fits together great. Did have to file mounting holes a bit for MLM intake. Also, supposedly a complete kit, but it does not come with the correct 54mm head gasket. Now I have to place another order and pay for shipping again.
