Woke my Hobbit right up, literally twice the power as my stock worn out metal reeds. These are the only way to go for your Hobbit!

The stock metal reeds are just a ticking time bomb, I'm glad to be rid of them. These do a little for the low end, but they really really help the power out from around 20-30. My package was cut in half too, but it looks like it's supposed to be a multi pack and I didn't even look for instructions, so I can't comment on their condition. Now my scootsy has the same reeds as my YZ490 dirt bike

This coupled with the mlm intake and 20mm carb has given my 1980 express ALL kinds of low end power, gained a bit of top end 2-3mph more.

Little change for me

I installed these Dual Stage Reeds in my NC50 1978 Honda Express. I "may" have noticed a slight increase in acceleration, but no change for the top end. I can't seem get it to go faster than 25, the goal is 35. I will continue to do performance tuning... Iv'e not given up yet. Maybe a throttle /carb issue of some kind. I was hoping it was the reeds, but they didn't help me. Better luck on yours!
