Fit perfect, fine bulb from the factory and didn't even require splicing. On the express it's plug and play.

Excellent replacement. The given bulb uses more amperage than the stock unit, so make sure your wires and grounds are cleaned up. Otherwise the current draw will make it slightly dimmer than stock at idle, though it'll be brighter off-idle either way. Led replacements for indicators etc also help take a load off the stator and help give this bulb the power it wants.

Very nice quality headlight unit, no need to spend close to 50 dollars on an original one. and i like the fact that the bulb is replaceable, if you're like me and are still running the factory wiring the only terminal you'll need to reuse from the old wire is the blue one due to having two connections as opposed to one and the colors match too. Thanks treatland.

The simple solution for the other reviewer, cut double connector off the sealed beam and splice that in. Easy. The 6v bulb blew right away in my 81 pa50 with the stock cdi, need to try a 12v

Very happy with the quality of the part. However, the connector for the blue wire is a single female bullet terminal. The connector on the stock headlight (on a '79 PA50 II) is a dual female bullet terminal. The light will still work as is, you won't have anywhere to plug in your H/L beam indicator light. You can make a jumper or buy the right terminal (3.5mm Bullet Terminal - Dual Female) if you want to use your H/L indicator. Only other issue was having to bend the left/right adjustor tab a little bit to get it to fit in the housing -- NBD.
