The lever hits the tank or the spout hits the tank. Needs the spout out the bottom or to the left. I guess this is going into the unused petcock bin.

Like another reviewer said, the bottom cap is plastic, and it's crap. Mine started leaking a day after I put gas in the tank, looked at it and it was cracked at the threads. No overtightening either.

This thing feels very cheaply made compared to the ancient one on my hobbit. The bottom cap was actually made out of white plastic instead of aluminum. The threaded part of that white plastic was cracked during shipping, or else the guys at treats didn't notice when they shipped it. I'll see about getting a new one, I've heard good things about their customer service.
Update: Customer service was awesome, but the petcock still is not. The new plastic filter cover on mine will not stop leaking. i tightened it a little with my finger tips and it broke.

these are pretty standard and work well. it's somewhat difficult to get the bottom cap back on after you take it apart to clean though. but the metal is soft enough to put it back on with a whap.
Doesnt work on pinto tank
