Metra kit 70cc, with a tjt variator, vm20 carb, and mlm side bleed pipe. My take off is weak with the gears and boggy. I don't seem to go faster than people without them. I know everyone setup is different but I can't believe they weren't even noticeable for me besides slow take off, lots of noise, and backlash in the gears from not being helical.

so i made the mistake of trying gasket maker. no bueno... it needs the 1mm clearance the case gasket provides. If not, it'll be SUPER tight and hard af to turn. just get the $5 gasket remember these need to be pressed in too! dont drink and press or she'll go in sidewayz
