get it if you have the "US" version of the flat reed.  if you have the "WORLD CHAMPION" version then get the other case gasket, because this one won't work.  excellent quality from the depths of some ancient hamlet, made in the US of A!

i've used these on two flatreed rebuilds in the past week.  one off an 86 SLE variant and the other a mystery engine that i believe is later year with derestricted case induction and longer pedal shaft.  these case gaskets were perfect on both.
