this piston will NOT work for any other puch 70cc kits we have EXCEPT the airsal 45mm kit!! why you ask? well, the ring gaps go right through transfers on all of the other cylinders we have at the moment. thats it!

this will not work on your treat kit v1, so if you didnt read this and bought it, have fun blowing BOTH rings instantly when you start it up!

get replacement rings here! they are 1.5mm FG type

diameter / bore = 45mm
wrist pin size = 12mm
distance from top (not including crown) to center of wrist pin opening = 22.5mm
total length (not including crown) = 49.5mm
distance between wrist pin slots (for needle bearing) - 20mm

It could be me or my setup, but this piston didn't work great for me. I could not get the bike past 38 mph and seemed very limited. I swapped it for the stock piston and my issue was solved. Immediately got into the top and kept going. I'd say don't buy this unless your stock piston broke and/or you're feeling really risky. My setup outside of the 70 Airsal is: low comp head (145 comp), 19 Airsal intake, 19 dell phbg bs (main 82, idle 45, 60 starter, w9 needle), simonini, points ignition, stock/braced 2 shoe w/ blue springs, stuffed crank.

5 of 5 Fantastic lil piston April 15, 2021

I only got it because I was a big dumb dumb and messed up the piston that came with my Airsal kit, so I can't really say anything about before and after.

Put this in your Airsal kit, and it's sure to work! Probably best not to try it on other kits.

5 of 5 GREAT upgrade for the stock piston December 1, 2015

This piston went in like a glove.  More compression, more torque, less blowby, less piston slap, smoother, and better idle than stock.  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!  Some side by side shots:  https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10153544489408880&set=pcb.1225294334151216&type=3&theater
