The one I received was chrome (looked like it anyway).
If you bought one because you saw a crack in your old one right where the clip holds your carb needle, this one comes with a crack, too... must be part of the design? Whoops.
Also slightly thicker (heightwise, from one flat side to the other flat side) than the original.
