Well as the title says, my neighbors love this pipe. I cut the silencer off it because of the bad reviews. I also had a problem with the silencer coming into contact with me making wheel adjustments on the bike. I just did a MAJOR solid axle and sealed bearing conversion on this bike. If I had the silencer on, I would of probably broke the exhaust. Every time I went to put my 19MM socket on. It got in the way and the pipe would make ugly cracking and popping noises. So I figured just finish it now with the angle grinder. Not only does it look cleaner but DAYUM this baby sounds nice. My neighbor says He can hear it in the third story of his house on top of the hill. I take that as a compliment. Safety is also a major issue with motorcycles. I would rather be heard then smashed. Ride like your invisible and you will never ever have any trouble at all. Good pipe. Loud pipes save lives. It's not only a Harley thing you know?

Tab Does Not Line Up With Mounting Bracket

The performance on this pipe is EXCELLENT! Really gives you the low end power for a commuting or touring setup. The only issue is that the mounting tab is about 1.5" lower than the Maxi's mounting bracket. Connecting as manufactured will create stress on the exhaust gasket seal. I suggest getting a torch and heat the pipe just below the pedal (after the taper to the chamber ends) to bend the pipe so that the shape of the pipe is more appropriate for the Maxi.

Easy install, great response, and sounds pretty cool too, like an angry dirt bike, id smoke out of it if i could but it works better on my ped

Bought the pipe in 2016 and it went on easily. It is great, its mid-range pulls like a turbo. I'd buy another in a minute. The baffle just fell off Juiy 2019. I'm going to replace the baffle and keep blasting.
