My girlfriend’s Puch Cobra came(from the previous owner), with this clutch. She thought it was great at first, but soon realized the rear wheel was dragging, and it was a B to push. Performance deteriorated. She didn’t want me to “hurt her baby” by pulling the clutch, but I checked in on the baby. The three shoe ends(at rest) were in contact with the bell so it was constantly rubbing metal on metal. The bell is a rainbow of heat treatment and grooves now, and the starter clutch plate wallered out the ends of the bell and the center hole as well. There was even stress on the crank end- had the repair the threads. Bottom line- replaced everything with stock clutch stuff.
I think this could be a good clutch, but check clearances when installing- the shoes might need to be ground down, and checked regularly, so, mopeds.

Great clutch first time using it no problems with it. 3 turns out from all the way in works great.

Who ever does the quality control for this needs a eye exam or needs to be canned. Surface of fiction material is cut not surfaced so that there is much less on one side of the clutch. Don't buy.

Tightened each shoe to 15 pounds, probably should have put some blue springs in but it seems fine. I get that fancy pseudo-2-speed effect when it engages.
