Although this carburetor can function, its performance is significantly weaker compared to a genuine Dellorto carb. Initially, I purchased this carburetor and was disappointed with its performance, so I ended up buying an original Dellorto. The differences in quality and function were quite noticeable. It was as if the original carburetor was made specifically for my bike. Although it may cost an extra 50 dollars, if you require a larger 17.5mm carburetor and do not mind investing in the choke and a genuine Dellorto 17.5mm, I highly recommend purchasing the original and genuine product.

Comes with the choke lever and an 83 Dellorto jet. I had to take it down to a 70 (Utah at 4500 feet ASL). The fuel inlet on this carb points strait up, unlike the original carb, which is angled to the front. The oil injection inlet is angled, unlike the original. It still attached fine. It also has an addition vacuum port, which is capped off. Fit's right on the original intake and is as big as you can go with the stock intake. My Streetmate R topped out at 31 mph with this carb and a technigas pipe. These are the only two mods I have added to this ped and I'm pretty sure the weak link is the pipe - which was twice what this carb cost. Of course, the bike only has 20 miles on it so maybe after the break-in it might go up? Overall, it was a wise purchase on my part. The quality looks to be no less than the Dellorto I removed.
