Recently switched over to surface gap plugs & they don't come with removable tips so had to replace cap boot for full tip. Also needed a resistor cap since running cdi & this fits the bill!

I had one of these on my Sachs and it kept falling off my spark plug, which made it a real PITA to ride having to stop every few minutes to smash the boot back on. I figured it was the boot itself, so I got another one of the same kind and I'm having the same problems again. It appears that the little metal screw-off tips on spark plugs tend to strip off, which renders the boot pretty much useless. Get the other kind.

These work good and for a while. I had the same one for years, but eventually it wore out and wouldn't stay on firmly, falling off whenever I hit a bump.

and Nasty!
I prefer long boot, but this gets the job done just as well. Screw it on, get rid of that cap and jam it on there.
One plus to having the screw threads as the point of contact with this boot is that it will almost never fall off, like say maybe a worn out long boot on a shaky variating bike would allow.

This part solved all my moped problems for like a week! they are sold at every reputable powersport store but hey if you are getting treats why not throw one in for when you need it!
