Mine showed up in immaculate shape and bolted right on. Only air leak was because I forgot to tighten one of the bolts holding it to the crankcase. My baaaaaad. Great quality part, nice a heavy and should last as long as anything else on a ped would.

Expected more

First off I expected way more for the price, the flanges weren’t aligned with both sides of the intake. I had to open up both sides of the intake for them to align with both sides of the intake tube. There was surface rust in the intake tube, and there’s paint on both flanges that needs to be removed to have better sealing surface. Like I said excepted way more for the price

Excessive Vibration Transfer, QC Issues

The powder finish is nice, except the mating / sealing surfaces are also powdered and need to be milled flat to seal correctly.
On my NX50 cases (very similar to NU50), there is excessive vibration transfer to the carb, which froths my fuel and causes overflow though the atmospheric overflow lines on my brand new VM20. I have tried using a base plastic spacer and upper plastic spacers together, and the vibration is just as bad. My motor is freshly rebuilt with crank, bearings, seals, kit, and exhaust.
Added, the flanges are not welded on perfectly to match the openings. There is overlap on the pipe hole and it needs to be dremeled to match perfectly.
