The pipe is great and easily bolts onto the stock m48 intake and rear mounting bracket. Gives you a good 2-5mph gain and really let’s your bike open up. The only reason I have it 4 stars is because it does rub on the pedal. This however is an easy fix! Mark where your pedal rubs and hit it with a rubber mallet to create a small (and unnoticeable) dent. Boom no need to get a pedal extension or deal with welding! 5-10 minute install time max.

If you want to go fast with the M48 Motor, get this. This header and chamber wakes the bike/motor up. I was doing 40 mph with a stock setup and this pipe You WILL need a pedal crank extension to actually pedal, hence the 4 stars. Power coat lets go after about 1.5 years, easy to touch up.

MLM pipe for starflight

put on a 76 starflight HS50, good performance and gained a few mph but pipe blocks the pedal from going around, doesn't interfere with kick stand so im not sure what year or model range product description is talking about where it blocks kickstand, as for the pedal im having it cut n welded an extension to clear the pipe, but overall im goin faster so im happy
