Installed these front and rear on my 1978 Honda NC50. They fit super tight so leave them out in the sun all day before you install them and spray them down with soapy water especially if you are using a tube. I popped a couple tubes before I figured out the trick with warming them up and wrestling them on by hand without tools.

JUST PUT ONE ON FRONT. HAD TO BEND THE FENDER BRACKETS. BIG "C" CLAMP THEN USED A PUNCH THAT FIT INSIDE THE GROOVES ON INSIDE OF BRACKET. BASICALLY BEND TO FIT THE CURVE OF FENDER. GOT THAT BEND STRAIGHTED OUT AND WENT RT ON. CANT SEE THE BRACKET WHEN MOUNTED ANYWAYS. ITS UP UNDER THE FENDER. IM FUSSY AND IM HAPPY WITH IT. PLENTY OF CLEARANCE NOW. LOOKS GREAT.

The best option for a stock FA50

These tires are fantastic, rated for up to 75mph and while you probably aren’t going THAT fast on your FA50 it’s always nice to know that you’re riding on a high quality tire. This tire also performs decently on dirt or gravel, which surprised me but I wouldn’t get too crazy if the riding surface is loose.
Now, to the nitty gritty: I did a bit of trial and error with my stock FA50 when I was ordering my tires, and the hard truth is that unless you upgrade to the MLM intake pipe for the Mikuni VM18 then you will have absolutely no flexibility with the dimensions of your tires. The clearance between the stock tires and the stock carburetor on the FA50 is just too narrow. This tire is originally sold in a set of two with a slightly larger rear tire, but even that won’t fit onto a Suzuki FA50. So if you have an FA50 and you’re running it with the stock carburetor then you want to get two of these IRC NR-77, they will both be marked as “front” tires but don’t worry.

Fits a Yamaha QT50. The tires are a bit wider than the stock ones. Requires slight modification to the front fender mount to make it fit. Tires were easy to mount with some soap as lubrication.
