here's what ya get in this PARTYYY!:

complete CDI conversion pack for puch one speed e50 engines. maybe more?

tested and approved. easy to install.

instructions:

1. move the brown ground wire on the white coil to the front of the coil.
2. install the stator, woodruff key, and flywheel onto the crank.
3. mount the pietcard 2041 box and the voltage regulator anywhere since they do not need to be grounded, and mount the HT coil somewhere on a nice strong ground somewhere on the frame of the moped.
4. wiring - from the stator, brown gets grounded, white goes to grey on pietcard, red goes to blue on pietcard, and yellow from stator goes to blue on voltage regulator and red out to lights. black on the pietcard gets grounded and red on pietcard connects to the only prong on the HT coil. from the voltage regulator, connect all lighting to the red wire.

hook it up! feel the difference. get bright lights, a high quality cdi box, super strong spark, and stop messing around with those points!

thanks sir nash, see reviews here for more details.

that means if you're reading this, all other wiring is the same, except yellow from the stator goes through yellow on the regulator, and brown on the reg gets grounded!

Does it work? Yes. Is it good? No. Just save your money and buy a hpi or mini rotor. Less bullshit and easier to time, plus they preform better

My kit came with no instructions whatsoever. Here is the wiring diagram for this kit: https://www.mopedarmy.com/forums/file.php?6,file=175462. I have not tested it so far, 4 stars because I had to search forever for a wiring diagram.

5 of 5 Puch cdi 2 version September 7, 2020
taco eater : RICHARD CAMACHO from Union, NJ United States
Just wanted to know if the cdi version 2 is a 12 volt system reason I ask is because it does not say.all it days that the trail tech regulator can be dial or adjusted need more and explicit details for better understanding before committing to purchase. I have a 1978 puch maxi with original stator with points I was to upgrade to a 12 volt system stock usage no racing just want something that's works I'm debating on the 75.00 item or the 130.00 which ever one is easier to install and is better I would prefer and buy two please advise.

1 of 5 Pietcard died in a block June 29, 2019

Hooked everything up, grounded it really good like it says in the instructions. My lights were bright and felt super solid through the low end. Riped for about a block and the pietcard bit the dust! If you get this buy extra pietcards and carry them with you or you will be pushing your bike home. Really bummed out about this!
