If you strip allens you're probably using a tool that isn't well made and perhaps is undersized.
Socket head screws(allens) aren't the best fastener design but they're a great step up from slotted or philips heads. And they're probably the best option for mopeds where none of the screws are torqued more than 20ft/lbs.
